Made in Vietnam by skilled artisans who first harvest thin pieces of bamboo, which are cut to proportion, boiled and dried. Then each piece of bamboo is thread with wire to make strands of bamboo that are attached to a wooden frame. Each curtain is hung in front of a full-size drawing and an artist applies the design by rolling tiny sponge paintbrushes back and forth to cover the bamboo strands all 360 degrees.
